1. Ningxin Human Rights Policy
Jiangsu Ningxin adheres to a sustainable
development policy that puts people at the center, safeguarding employee
fundamental rights as citizens of the nation, and is committed to upholding the
civil rights of all people that is involved in all business activities.
This policy applies to all of the company's
operations worldwide, ensuring compliance with international human right norms
in different countries and regions.
Fostering a Fair Environment: the company strives to create a fair, just, and inclusive work
environment, eliminating any form of discrimination, ensuring equal
opportunities and development rights for employees.
Prohibition of Discrimination: the company prohibits any form of discrimination based on race,
gender, age, religion, nationality, disability, or other factors, ensuring that
employees enjoy equal rights and opportunities in recruitment, promotion,
compensation, and other areas, fostering a diverse and inclusive work
environment.
Prohibition of Forced Labor: the company prohibits all forms of forced labor. During recruitment,
the company provides detailed information about job responsibilities, working
hours, and compensation for relevant positions. Employment contracts are signed
on voluntary basis, and national laws are strictly enforced. Workers must rest
after completing a shift, and overtime work must be reviewed and approved by
senior management. Using of force is absolutely banned.
Prohibition of Child Labor: Ningxin does not hire minors under 16 years old for factory
work as per national laws. It offers paid internship opportunities for students
16 to 18 years old. The company protects young workers and encourages them to
pursue further education and training.
Providing Fair Pay: wages are determined through consultation with employees, ensuring
their remuneration is above local minimum wage limit. Regular salary
adjustments are made based on employee performance and market conditions to
safeguard their economic interests.
Comprehensive Benefits: the company provides comprehensive benefits for employees, including
social insurance, commercial accident insurance, paid annual leave, sick leave,
maternity leave, and other welfare. The company offers high standard lodging
and meal services.
Protection of Women: women enjoy equal employment rights as men, including equal
pay for equal work and equal chances for career advancement. Pregnant women are
assigned with low-intensity and safe work, protecting their physical health.
Women on maternity leave are entitled to statutory maternity leave with wages
paid. Nursing mothers are granted daily breastfeeding breaks with their work
rights protected. The company provides a safe and healthy working environment
for women, conducts regular safety inspections, and prevents occupational
diseases and work-related injuries. Sexual harassment in the workplace is
banned.

safety standards, and prevents occupational diseases and work-related
injuries.
Organizing Various Training Programs: the company offers extensive training and development

2. OHAS Policy & Management System
Jiangsu Ningxin has established a
comprehensive health and safety management system certified to ISO 45001. The
company adopts a risk assessment mechanism to identify potential risks in the
fields of health and safety, develops preventive measures tailored to different
risks, and carries out and continually improves these measures.
Safety Training: Onboarding Safety Training for New Employees--on joining the
company, new employees undergo comprehensive safety training covering safety
knowledge, operating procedures, and other essential topics to ensure
familiarity with the work environment and safety requirements. Regular
Training and Assessment--regular safety training and assessments are done to
update safety knowledge and reinforce employee safety awareness. Assessment
results serve as a basis for employee performance evaluation. Ongoing Awareness
Campaigns--the company has installed large size plasma TVs in the cafeteria,
allowing employees to watch instructional videos during meal breaks.
Safety Facilities and PPE: Ningxin provides complete safety facilities, such as
firefighting equipment and emergency lighting, which are regularly inspected
and maintained to ensure proper operation. Employees are supplied with personal
protective equipment, including gloves, earplugs, safety glasses, and
protective footwear. Training on the correct use of PPE is provided, and their
use is monitored.
Prevention of Mechanical and Chemical
Injuries: A machine maintenance safety system
has been set up to prevent physical injuries during repairs. Potential hazards
at each work-station are identified, and employees are required to use
appropriate protective gear, wear proper clothing and footwear, keep hair short
or tied back, and remain vigilant of hazards while moving around the shop.
Proper equipment operation and trouble-shooting procedures are emphasized. The
company provides washing water sources for immediate flushing in case of
chemical exposure. A system for the safe handling of chemicals is in place,
ensuring that chemical storage complies with related norms. Chemical storage
and handling areas are equipped with spill containment facilities. Only
qualified people can handle hazardous materials.
Safety Inspections and Hazard
Identification: regular safety inspections are
conducted to identify potential hazards in time. A hazard rectification record
system tracks the progress of corrective actions to ensure risks are
eliminated.
Employee Health Records: Ningxin maintains health records for all staff and workers,
documenting pre-employment physical examination results and organizing regular
health check-ups. Effective measures are taken to improve the work environment
and provide protective equipment to prevent occupational diseases.
Health Knowledge Promotion: health awareness campaigns are regularly conducted, and sports
facilities are provided to encourage employees to exercise and improve their
physical fitness.
Emergency Preparedness: Ningxin has developed comprehensive emergency response plans
covering contingencies such as fires and earthquakes. These plans outline clear
emergency procedures and responsibility assignments to ensure a rapid response.
Emergency Drills: regular emergency drills, including fire evacuation and emergency
medical response exercises, are organized to enhance employee emergency
response capabilities and rescue skills. Post-drill reviews are conducted to
refine the emergency plans.
Emergency Supplies Reserve: Ningxin maintains sufficient emergency supplies, such as first-aid
medications and firefighting equipment. Responsible persons regularly inspect
and update firefighting equipment, first-aid supplies, and disaster prevention
materials, and standardizes the procedures for distributing and replenishing
these resources.
Emergency Response Mechanism: a rapid emergency response mechanism has been established,
including in-house firefighting teams, medical emergency committees, and
disaster relief committees. In the event of an emergency, the response plan is
activated immediately to organize rescue operations and minimize losses.
Accident Investigation and
Handling: accidents are thoroughly
investigated and analyzed to discern root causes and assign responsibilities.
Lessons learned are used to develop corrective measures and improve preventive
strategies to avoid recurrence of similar incidents.

3. Environment Protection & Low
Carbon Green Growth
Jiangsu Ningxin adopts a low-carbon green
development strategy, setting up a comprehensive environment protection system
certified to ISO 14001 standard.
Ningxin Green Development Policy
Objectives: Achieve carbon neutrality at
the operational level (Scope 1 & 2) by 2030, and net-zero emissions across
the entire value chain (Scope 3) by 2050. For renewable energy transition,
we will source 70% of electricity from green power by 2027, and phase out
fossil fuels by 2030. To raise the efficiency of resources, we will reduce
energy consumption per unit of revenue by 30% by 2027, achieve a water
recycling rate of above 50%, and attain a zero-waste-to-landfill rate
of more than 90%.
To accomplish ecological synergy, we will ensure
all new or renovation projects have a net positive impact on local
biodiversity. We set an internal carbon price at $80/ton CO₂e, and all investment decisions shall pass a carbon cost stress
test.
Environmental Protection Policy
Vision: Reduce conventional pollutant
emission intensity by 90% compared to 2020 levels. Achieve zero
exceedances and zero major environmental incidents in production, storage, and
office facilities. Scope includes waste gas, wastewater, solid and hazardous
waste, noise, light pollution, and soil and groundwater contamination.
With regard to waste pollution management,
Ningxin prioritizes reduction. Decrease per capita solid waste generation by
60% by 2030 compared to the 2020 baseline. Ningxin practices closed-loop
recycling, aiming at a waste resource utilization rate of 90% and a
landfill rate of at most 5% by 2027, with 100% compliance for hazardous
substances.
Ningxin has made a value list of solid
wastes and regularly updates qualified partners. For hazardous waste
reduction, Ningxin plans to phase out mercury-containing thermometers and
fluorescent lamps by 2026, replacing them with LEDs and electronic sensors;
achieve 100% coverage of solvent recycling and purification systems in
labs.
For emergency response, Ningxin is capable
of acting on hazardous waste leaks within 30 minutes and turning in an RCA
report within 72 hours as per the ISO 14001 templates.
Water Resource Protection Policy
Vision: Become a water-positive
enterprise by 2030, reducing freshwater consumption per unit of output by
50%. Invest in low-water-consumption technologies from 2025 to 2027.
Adopt the 5R principles-- Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replenish, and Share.
To realize this vision, we made our 2025-2030
Action Plan. For water reduction, we will conduct water footprint assessments
as per ISO 14046 for all workshops and departments. We will do recycling
and reuse. We will achieve an internal recycling rate of 75% and more;
install tertiary water meters and smart leakage monitoring systems in all
workshops and departments by 2025. Reclaimed water production capacity will
account for at least 30% of total water usage, for production,
landscaping, and sanitation. We will adopt a zero pollution discharging
policy. We will adopt phosphorus free and nitrogen free production processes by
2028.
Ningxin Forest Protection Policy
Vision: Achieve zero net forest loss by
2030 and progress toward forest-positive by 2035. Ensure zero
deforestation, zero degradation, and zero conversion in direct operations and
Tier 1 supply chains. Restore or conserve forest areas totaling ≥110%
of the land used for the company’s own forests and key commodities in its
supply chain. Encourage over 50% of Tier 2 suppliers to disclose their
forest footprints. Scope includes paper products, wood-based packaging,
palm oil, soy, rubber, cocoa, beef, bioenergy wood pellets, and
forest-impacting activities such as mining and infrastructure
development. Adopt the principles of Avoiding, Reducing, Restoring, and
Transforming.
4.Business Ethics
Jiangsu Ningxin upholds the highest
standards of business ethics in its daily operations, ensuring that all
corporate decisions and actions are conducted within a framework of legality,
transparency, integrity, fairness, and sustainability, thereby earning the
trust of shareholders, customers, employees, communities, and regulatory
authorities. This policy applies to all people associated with the company,
including suppliers, contractors, distributors, agents, and others.
Anti-Bribery and Corruption: Offering or accepting improper benefits to or from any individual is
strictly prohibited. All business gifts valued at ≥ USD 20 must be
registered; those ≥ USD 100 require prior written approval.
Conflict of Interest: Investing in competitors, suppliers, or customers is
prohibited. Employees must complete a Conflict of Interest Disclosure Form upon
joining Ningxin, annually, and upon any significant changes in
circumstances.
Antitrust and Fair Competition: Entering into agreements with competitors regarding pricing,
production, or market division is forbidden. Abusing a dominant market position
to engage in tied selling or discriminatory pricing is prohibited.
Data and Privacy: Collecting, selling, or sharing personal information without
the consent of the individual and company leadership is not permitted. Data
systems must be certified under ISO 27701. Internal and external networks must
be segregated, with internal network data regularly backed up to prevent
hacking and data loss.
Financial Integrity: Accurate financial records must be maintained. The company’s
chief financial officer must sign a Financial Integrity Statement quarterly.
External auditors must be rotated every 5 years, with a mandatory 3-year
cooling-off period.
Responsible Supply Chain: Procuring products derived from forced labor, child labor,
deforestation, or conflict minerals is prohibited. All Tier 1 suppliers must
sign a Supplier Code of Conduct and impose corresponding requirements on their
sub-suppliers. Third-party social responsibility audits are implemented.
Complaints and Retaliation: Retaliation
against good-faith complainants is strictly forbidden. Reports are accepted via
real-name or anonymous channels through any means. A 24/7 multilingual
Integrity Hotline is available via phone, email, encrypted instant messaging,
or mail. The identity of whistleblowers is kept strictly confidential, and any
form of retaliation is prohibited. An Integrity Guardian Award is established.

The Ningxin Executive Vice President is
responsible for organizing investigations into complaints. Preliminary
investigations must be completed within 30 days, and corrective and remedial
measures must be proposed within 60 days. The accused individual is not
permitted to join the investigation team and must recuse themselves. If the
Executive Vice President is the subject of the complaint, the Ningxin General
Manager will organize the investigation. If both the Vice President and General
Manager are accused, the Ningxin Board of Directors will oversee the
investigation and handling.
5. Supply Chain Due Diligence
Issue the Supplier Code of Conduct, covering topics such as human rights, labor practices, environmental protection, business ethics, responsible minerals -conflict minerals, and zero deforestation. Incorporate the code into all procurement contracts, supplier manuals, and tender documents. Conduct annual audits of suppliers. Establish a 24/7 Grievance Channel (email, phone, WeChat, third-party platforms) supporting multilingual anonymous reporting. Provide suppliers with training in various forms. Rate supplier performance in the above areas and incorporate the scores into the supplier evaluation system. Form a Regulatory Radar Team to monitor domestic and international supply chain regulations in real time and promptly update relevant documents and requirements.
